Leisure Facilities

One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the leisure club.

 Facilities include:

  • Heated indoor swimming pool (perfect for kids and adults).
  • Warm (but not quite hot) jacuzzi with soothing jets.
  • Relaxing sauna and steam room for ultimate relaxation.
  • Modern gym with a good selection of equipment.

Locker rooms with showers are available inside the leisure area. Lockers operate on a refundable £1 coin system.

Note: I personally would have loved if the hot tub was a little hotter, but it still felt great after a day of sightseeing!

Dining at Kingsmills Hotel

The menus here really showcase fresh, local Scottish ingredients in every dish:

On-Site Restaurants:

  • The Inglis Restaurant: Fine dining experience with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
  • The Conservatory Restaurant: Bright and casual, perfect for breakfast or a relaxed dinner.
  • Afternoon Tea: Offered daily in the lounge—a must-try for traditional Scottish scones and finger sandwiches.

Room service is also a fantastic option if you want a quiet night in.

 Kids Menu Available:
Even though the restaurants lean toward fine dining, they offer a dedicated children’s menu with familiar favorites like fish and chips, burgers, and pasta.

 Breakfast:
While breakfast isn’t automatically included in all room rates, you can add it yourself at booking. It’s absolutely worth treating yourself!

Breakfast is served in both the Inglis Restaurant and KingsClub, with a wide variety of delicious options:

  • A continental spread featuring freshly baked breads, pastries, fruits, yogurts, cereals, muesli, cheeses, and cold meats.
  • A full Scottish breakfast, offering pork sausages, haggis, black pudding, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, and eggs made to your liking (poached, fried, boiled, or scrambled).
  • Unlimited tea, coffee (featuring a special Inverness Coffee Roasting Blend), milk, and fruit juices to start your day right.

They also accommodate dietary requirements, with non-dairy milks and vegetarian options readily available. Breakfast is open to both hotel guests and non-guests – just contact the hotel to make a reservation first.
