Hilton Zurich Airport hotel room

Room Review

Our room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Amenities included a mini-fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee, a well-lit bathroom, and a comfortable bed that you sink right into. The large windows allowed for plenty of natural light, enhancing the room’s ambiance.

For families, the hotel offers various room configurations, including family suites, ensuring ample space and comfort for all guests.

Dining at the Hilton Zurich Airport Hotel (Horizon10 & Bar)

Although we didn’t dine at the Hilton’s Horizon10 Restaurant or Lobby Bar, we did take a peek inside—and it was impressive. The restaurant features sweeping views of the Alps and the runways, giving your meal an extra scenic flair. The menu features a variety of Swiss and international dishes with a fine-dining twist, and the open kitchen design adds a modern, upscale touch. It’s definitely a spot we’d consider trying on a future stay. The Lobby Bar looked like a cozy place to relax with a drink or light snack after a long travel day.

The hotel offers a daily breakfast buffet from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. While we didn’t partake due to an early exit, the spread includes a variety of hot and cold options, such as eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruits, and Swiss specialties like Rösti. This does come at an extra fee.

Nearby Amenities

A short five-minute walk from the hotel leads to a small shopping center featuring a grocery store, café, wine shop, and a restaurant. We picked up some items from the local Aldi’s grocery store and enjoyed a picnic on the benches along the way back, taking in the scenic views. So Swiss.

Is the Hilton Zurich Airport Family-Friendly?

Traveling with our four-year-old, we found the hotel to be accommodating for families. While we weren’t informed of specific children’s amenities upon check-in, the hotel’s website mentions a “kids welcome” program and additional amenities available upon request. For future stays, it’s advisable to inquire about these offerings during check-in to enhance the family experience.
