Overview:
Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Scotland. Our server, Abbie, was so great with us and our daughter. She gave great recommendations and was very kind and friendly. This was our first time trying Haggis and we loved it! Especially our daughter! I highly recommend the bruschetta and the mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was so cheesy, and the tomatoes on the bruschetta were perfectly seasoned and fresh. So good. Good beer and drink selection! We were there on Halloween, and the bar and restaurant were all decked out in decorations. It was pretty quiet that evening, which added to how awesome our experience was. Without people everywhere, it is easier to focus on your food! But I bet this place gets packed.
The highlight of our meal was a local gentleman named Peter. His friendliness and generosity is not something you see nowadays. We’ve never come across someone so kind, and we will always remember our chat with him. Our daughter talks about him everyday as if he were a relative. That is exactly how I pictured the locals in Scotland would be, and we are grateful to have met him.
If you are ever in the Glasgow area, I highly recommend dining at The Coorie In!
