We visited Gava Mar in summer of 2018. Beautiful, clean, and soft sandy beach! It lies along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. There were gentle rolling waves, and the water temperature was perfect. It was cool and refreshing, but not too cold where you didn’t want to go all the way in. It is a topless beach, as most European beaches are. There are a few restaurants and public amenities dotted along the coast line. We will definitely come back here when visiting the Barcelona area!
Platja de Gava in the summer is highly recommended.
This was a nice way to escape from the crowded city center of Barcelona. There were cute cafes and shops along the boardwalk and we really enjoyed this cute downtown area.
