Overview:

We had a quick stop over in the area during our road trip across the UK, and were looking for something on our way, with a restaurant or restaurants nearby, and for a good price. The Rowtan Poplars Hotel fit the bill! It was a little scary getting there on our drive, since it was late at night and there were no street lights on the road for a while (during the rain!) The lights from inside were a beacon of warmth.

It was all decked out with Halloween decor, which our daughter loved, and there was someone at the desk for an easy check in and check out. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a good size bathroom and shower. There is a restaurant attached, but we arrived too late to enjoy it. They do offer breakfast as well. If you are ever in the area and in need of a cute and cozy place to stay, Rowton Poplars Hotel is the place!

Customer Service:

We experienced great communication before checking in through WhatsApp. They were quick to reply, and everyone was friendly when we arrived and checked out. 

Accessibility:

There is a good size parking lot at the hotel. Gas station directly next to it. There are other restaurants and bars a short drive from the hotel. If you are not from the area and are driving at night, be warned that it is off a dark street! It was quite the adventure for us trying to get there on a dark and stormy night! That being said, we would stay here again next time we’re in the Chester area!
