Overview:

The Fairmont Nile City Hotel is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The security and metal detector at the entrance made us feel safe. The inside is grand and luxurious, and the bathroom is massive. But the bed is one of the biggest we’ve seen since we started our trip, so big and inviting. We were absolutely floored seeing our room.

However, the view is what makes this place feel so surreal. Stepping onto your balcony you are situated right over the Nile River and out in the distance stands the Great Pyramids of Giza. Indeed, it is absolutely breathtaking, which you can see pretty well once the sand in the air clears. There is also so much to do here. Click here to read about our stay! Multiple restaurants, some of the best room service meals we’ve ever had, a casino, spa, gym, lounges, and the best rooftop pool ever. You don’t even need to leave the hotel if you don’t want to! Although you should because it is in a great location!  Close to downtown Cairo, The Egyptian Museum, and about 25km to the pyramids.

After a long day exploring the pyramids, the Fairmont Nile City Hotel is the perfect place to unwind and relax. This hotel has extremely high standards, and it shows. Honestly one of the best stays in the world. When we return to Egypt we will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a memorable experience! 

Customer Service/Kid Friendliness:

Great customer service. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff gave great recommendations and excellent communication. 

There are plenty of things here to keep children entertained. The pool is the best! They do have babysitting available, and kids menu options.

Accessibility:

Great location. Right on the River Nile, close to the Great Pyramids of Giza (which you can see above my shoulder in the photo below), The Egyptian Museum, and downtown. There is valet service available.
