Overview:

We stayed at Iris Hotel Eden during the Advent Season, and it was perfect! The hotel is easy to find and there are a ton of shops and restaurants in the area. It is very clean, has nice decor, and the rooms are nice and spacious. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower had good pressure, even though we couldn’t stop the water from spraying outside of the tub. The amenities in the bathroom were also really nice and high quality. The customer service here was the best we’ve encountered in a long time! Everyone we talked with either at the front desk or in the restaurant, was very friendly and helpful! The hot cocoa bar and chess tables in the entrance were a great touch and made you feel warm and welcomed when you entered.
The breakfast buffet was superb! A lot of options were put out and refilled frequently. The sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, and yogurt bar were our family’s favorite. Everything tasted very fresh and well seasoned. Gluten free options were also available.
We also ate dinner at the restaurant two different nights and both meals were delicious. Our servers were great. Timely service, and even found coloring pages and crayons for our daughter.
The best part about this hotel is the public transportation that is within walking distance. We were planning on visiting the Christmas Markets, and even though we had a rental car, we were advised to take public transportation since parking can be an issue. The tram ride was quick and easy to navigate! We did take our rental car one night and it did take a long time to find parking!
There is also a large parking lot on site. We were informed to park on one side since the other side is for the stadium next to the hotel, but later that evening we did see hotel guests parking there. I’m assuming it’s ok to park there for a little bit as long as there isn’t a game going on.

We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Prague, Czechia!

Customer Service/Kid Friendliness:

Spectacular customer service! The first night we asked for extra coffee pods for our room, and they gave us a whole box! We also asked for some extra water bottles and they ended up giving us a whole case! It was so unexpected and we greatly appreciated it. Everyone at the front desk was also super helpful in giving us tips on getting around or where to eat.
Iris Hotel Eden is also great for kids. The front desk and the servers in the restaurant gave our daughter coloring books and crayons, and let her enjoy the hot cocoa bar in the lobby. There is also a kids menu in the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet had a lot of kid friendly options.

Accessibility:

This hotel has a big parking lot next to it, which it shares with the Stadium. If there is a match that day, I recommend getting to the hotel early! There is also a lot of street parking out front, but it was always packed. The hotel will give you a card to get in and out of the parking lot.
